John Kraemer & Sons was founded in 1978 by the late John Kraemer and his son, current President Gary Kraemer. With Gary’s two sons John and Jeff in the business, the firm is now a third-generation company.
Gary Kraemer and his father John started the company in 1978. Gary has worked in every aspect of the company from laborer, to carpenter, to his current role as President of the company. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction business. Gary is committed to providing the finest quality, craftsmanship and customer service that his clients deserve. Gary is a true believer that a satisfied customer is not good enough. He strives to go above and beyond all expectations to make sure that all of his clients’ needs are completely fulfilled.
Gary recently earned his fourth Builder of the Year Award from the Builder’s Association of the Twin Cities. This honor is in recognition of trust, communication, loyalty and ethics, and is the most coveted distinction a member of the Builder’s Association can receive.
Gary is one of the select group of professional builders who have earned the Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) designation, identifying himself as one of the building industry’s top professionals. The CGB is an exclusive designation, emphasizing expertise in several areas key to home building and business management. This designation requires several hours of course study and must be renewed every three years. Only three other builders in the State of Minnesota, and only 820 builders nationwide have earned this designation. Gary Kraemer truly stands apart in our industry. Gary is also a Certified Green Professional (CGP).
Gary and his wife Denise have been married since 1980. They have three sons – John, Jeff, and Evan. Gary is also very involved in his community. He has served on the boards of several charitable foundations and has been a youth baseball coach for two decades.
